HEALTHARE CONSULTING
After more than 25 years working as a physical therapist within a major New York City hospital system, I understand healthcare from the inside. I also understand how confusing and overwhelming that system can feel when you or someone you love suddenly has to navigate it.
My work focuses on the space between having a healthcare need and knowing what to do next.
Consulting For Healthcare Practices
For cash-based physical therapy and healthcare practices, the first conversation with a prospective patient matters.
I provide high-touch discovery calls and patient follow-up that combine clinical knowledge with genuine human connection. I can listen to what a prospective patient is looking for, understand the clinical context, help communicate the value of your services, determine whether your practice may be an appropriate fit, and guide the conversation toward a clear next step.
Additional consulting services can include patient communication, testimonial and video storytelling, and strategies for developing relationships with fitness and wellness professionals who can become part of a strong referral network.
Patient Advocacy & Hospital Navigation
A hospitalization can leave patients and families trying to make sense of an unfamiliar system at an already stressful time.
I provide one-on-one support to help patients and families navigate the hospital experience. That may include helping you understand what to expect, preparing questions for your healthcare team, identifying hospital and community resources, making sense of the discharge process, and helping you determine where to go for answers about insurance, coverage, and follow-up care.
Sometimes what you need most is simply someone who understands the system and can help you figure out the next question to ask.A hospitalization can leave patients and families trying to make sense of an unfamiliar system at an already stressful time.
My careers in healthcare and the arts have shaped my belief that meaningful communication is at the center of both healing and human connection.
Whether I'm helping a family navigate a hospitalization or helping a healthcare practice connect with the people it is best positioned to serve, my role is the same: listen, understand, communicate, and help people move forward.
